This post is going to be a rant on a few things:
Next, the fact that people believe gay marriage is sinning. Even if you do, who the hell are you to say what is or isn’t sinning? Are you God? No? I didn’t think so. You worry about you, and let other people worry about themselves. Everyone sins. Every. Single. Human. Being. Sins. So, do not judge other people from sinning differently than you. Especially, when, in my book, being with and marrying the person you are in love with is not sinning. It’s love and vowing to spend your life with the other person. And ruining the sanctity of marriage? Are you kidding me? How is this even considered a valid argument anymore? With over half of marriages ending in divorce, the fact that people get divorced and remarried multiple times, and people are married drunk, how is someone who is in a dedicated relationship and in love ruining marriage? Also, in the verse that I quoted above, if we are saying that same-sex marriages wouldn’t be valid because of religious reasons, then a huge portion of our marriages wouldn’t be valid, and we also have a lot of women to execute. Just saying. I just don’t undertand the argument at all. It doesn’t make sense. And, seriously, marriage is about love. Marriage is about vowing to spend the rest of your life with another person, why does it matter if it is a man and a woman, man and man, or woman and woman? It’s love. What’s the difference? The last thing is the fact that people are annoyed of the fact that gay rights is publicized. I was just told, “You don’t see pictures and articles on straight people getting married.” Uh, that’s because we didn’t have to fight and push to be able to be married. We didn’t have to wait until 2012 for a law to be passed, only in a select few states for our marriage to be considered legal. It’s a big deal, and it should have happened along time ago. I apologize for the people who are ridiculed and criticized for their love. Love is love. I will stand on your side and support you the entire time.
